Selecting fracturing layer by comprehensive experience of drilling, logging
and coring data is inefficient and has certain limitations. After statistically analyzing of fracturing measures data of 60 wells in Erlian
exploration area, the flow unit method which combines static with dynamic data, divides the fracturing effect of the layers into three types: A, B
and C by according to the characteristics of pressure test curve and logderivative curve in fracturing area. Then the flow unit chart of
fracturing target area is established. By drawing the measured pressure history curve and pressurederivative double logarithmic diagnostic curve
of the target well before fracturing, comparing with the classification criteria of curve and the statistical results of the effect of measures,
the formation selection for fracturing construction can be determined. The application of 11 layers in 2018 shows that the compliance rate of the
proposed measures is 100% and the fracturing efficiency is increased by 32%. This method can provide qualitative and semiquantitative basis for
fracturing layer selecting, and provide technical support for optimizing fracturing layer and fracturing scheme.
